The Registry aims at transparency and avoidance of double counting in the publication of verified data on methodologies/standards/programs, projects and the issuance of unique serial numbers of carbon credit certificates. 

The Registry ensures traceability and transparency of the entire process through public access to key project documentation for project implementation and movement of carbon credit certificates considering greenhouse gas emission reductions.
